Return of Naruto Chapter 12


With months of training complete the improved Naruto is ready to finish his journey.

“Naruto you never stop amazing me. How did you complete that jutsu which only the great Fourth Hokage could only take half way?” Fukasaku asked in total surprise that he did it in only three months.

“I’m just lucky I guess,” as Naruto gives is usually grin and head rub.

“NARUTO, remember this. You have completed a jutsu that is uses an absence amount of chakra. The Fourth sealed this away in that scroll for a reason. We sage toads have been around for centuries, and there are only two people who have completed this jutsu. You, Naruto and the First, the creator of all Ninjutsu, the greatest ninja of them all. It is not to be used lightly; it can save everyone or kill everyone. Only the one that wields the jutsu can choose this path, either save the world or destroy the world. I know your answer, but it is not the simple. You would choose save, but to save those of the ones you love the ones you hate would be saved. It can only be one path, the two cannot be mixed. Life or death, there is no other choice. Remember that Naruto, when used at 100% there is no going back, remember.” The old toad sage warns him of his new and ultimate power.

“Don’t worry, there is always hope, there is always life, I will find away.” Naruto grins and gives him the thumbs up.

“Naruto, listen to him, I knew the first one, I have seen this jutsu in action, remember his wronging. Only you and him can use it. Your amount of chakra and his are the same, be careful.” The Kyubi warns Naruto too.

“Don’t worry, I’ll remember them. Time to leave, it will happen soon and I still have more info to get before that day.” With that Naruto leaves to come back to the real realm and continue his journey.

“Naruto, I believe in you. The Child of Prophecy, I know you will find away.” The old toad smiles and waits for the day.
Naruto now back, moves out to find the last pieces of the plan and prepare for that day.

Meanwhile back in the village, Tsunade has been working Sakura to death. She is always training, at the hospital healing, or now being the Sensei to three Genin. As a matter of fact many of them have their own teams to train. Sakura, Ino, Neji- his team are all Chunin now, Kiba, Choji, and even Lee- many of them were against it- as they put it “We don’t need more of them around!!!” As for the rest, they have all been put into teams in ANBU and have done a great job. The only person not to be a part of one team is Shikamaru- he has been doing other things for the Village, but Tsuande is just waiting to find him the right team of Genin to be with.

“Sakura how is the new team doing, did they pass your bell test?” Ino ask as they sit down for lunch.

“Yes they did. They saw through my mind games and used great teamwork to get the bells. But it did take them quite some time.” Sakura was happy that her team passed she really liked them.

Sakura’s Team

Shinjo- just like her- quite at the age, weak, but great chakra control, very smart, ok in the jutsus, and has in eye for someone, (guess Sherlock).

Ybiki- just like Sasuke- keeps to himself- very talented, first in the class, smart, puts down others, and likes to be look at by other. Parents both still alive.

Then there is Narkiu- just like Naruto- spiky brown hair, last in the class, hyperactive, wants to do his best to prove that he will be greatest ninja, likes Ramen, tries to impress Shinjo but never works, helps his friends out, and most importantly never ever gives up.

“They are just like us when we were that age, what do you think Ino?” Sakura asked.

“I so agree with you, my team is great and we have so much fun together. I can see them passing the Chunin test the first time, unlike your team forehead.” She jokes with Sakura.

“Well, we will just have to see about that when the time comes then pig.” Sakura fires right back. They give each other that famous stare down, and then they both laugh and go back to eating.

A month later

“So Sakura, another mission complete for your team, they are doing a great job, 7-D missions great work.” Tsuande tells them.

“Come one Lady Hokage we want a C-rank mission,” Narkiu shouts. Then get hit in the head from Sakura.

“So sorry about the master, I mean Lady Hokage, please forgive him.” She pleads.

“Hahahaha, just like Naruto you said right? He is so much like him. Ok then I will give you that C-rank mission. I need you to take this Scroll to the Land of Tea to my old friend and also this small amount of money I owe him.” To her a small amount is really big to the rest of them.

“Alright a C-rank, YES.” Narkiu yells, they other are happy too but keep it inside.
On their mission they ask Sakura so many questions about when she was young. About the academy, stuff they did, missions, her old team, and if what they heard about was true, about Naruto that is. “You never talk about him why not? We want to know what the demon was like.” WRONG CHOICE OF WORDS!!! Sakura grasp Ybiki by the shirt and is ready to give him a charka punch that would crush his skull, and then she stops a near inch away from his face.

“Never ever say that about Naruto Uzumaki ever again. He saved my life many times. He would do anything for me and ask for nothing back. He saved the village and the people as well, he is not a demon. A demon would never do such nice things for others as he did. He was a great shinobi that would have been a great Hokage, but he was taken from us much too soon.” She stops talking to look at a picture of him. “Now that I think of it he did only want one thing from me.”

“Stop Sakura-sensei, were too young to hear that kind of talk.” Shinjo says waving her hands.

“You guys are pervs, he only wanted a date.” Sakura told them, “That was close” they said.

“So did you ever go out with him then?” Shinko ask her.

“No, I never did, and I regret not doing it. Like I said he would do anything for me, even if it meant his life. He just wanted to see me happy. I do miss him.” Before they could ask another question there was a load explosion in the distance up ahead. “You all fellow me and stay close together, let me handily this,” Sakura and the others runs to see what the cause was.

A cloak man attacks a small group of five Rain ninja, “What are you doing in the Land of Tea?” He asked them.

“None of you business we have a job to do. We need to get a scroll that will be here soon.” The leader of the five tells him.

Before the cloaked man could speak he feels someone charka he knows 20 feet behind them.

“What the, your that man who killed those guys at the tea house. What are you doing here?”Sakura ask.

“Trying to stop us from killing you,” the five Rain ninja ran past the man and bear down on Sakura’s team.

“I don’t think so.” The cloaked man vanishes and appears in front of the team and takes out three of the Rain.

“What the hell,” before the last man on the right can draw a weapon he his hit by Sakura’s fist and dies from a shot to the heart.

The cloaked man then throws a strange kunai at the last remaining Rain and hits him in the leg, causing him to fall to the ground. The three Genin tie up the man before he could leave.

“Here you go mister. I must say this is one strange ninja weapon you got there.” Shinjo hands him the kunai.

“Thank you so much for that, but I need to know who you are?” Sakura grapes his hood and removes it to see, Min.

“Min, what the hell, you were the one at the tea house?” Sakura was confused.

“No that was not me, I have missed you though, and this long mission is really taken its toll on me.” Min says in his head, ‘that was a close one, she has gotten faster’. “So you have your own team now, that is great, and they work so well together.”

“Wow Min you’re hot!!” Shinjo shouts it out, then blushes.

“Thank you little one. I bet you will be lovely too when you grow up.” He is so charming, just like Naruto Sakura thought.

“Ok then, tell me why you were going to attack them Rain ninja?” Min ask the man.

“They had a scroll that we were hired to steal from them. That was out order, and to take Sakura alive.” Min and Sakura were shocked by this, but before they could ask for whom, the man had gotten hold of a pill and killed himself.

“He’s done.” Min looks over the bodies and finds nothing. “Ok love to stay and chat, but I got to get going; a mission waits for no man.” Before Sakura could ask a question he was gone.

“That guy was cool Sakura-Sensei. Who was he?”

“A replacement for Naruto, but he had a mission he had to do.” They leave and complete the mission. They get back to the village to report the attack.

“Lady Hokage when we were almost there a group of rain Ninja attacked us. They were killed but someone helped us.” Sakura tells her.

“Who was this person?” She asked.

“It was Min. He got one of them alive and the ninja told us that he was ordered to get the scroll and me alive for someone.” Sakura finished.

“Ok then. Good to hear that Min is well, he has been doing great work for us. He will be back soon, don’t worry about this ok Sakura. I’m giving you and your team some time off, I need you to be at the hospital for a couple weeks, ok then.”

“Ok master.” Sakura bows and leaves.

“So Lady Hokage what are we going to do, that is the fourth one this week.” Shizune ask her.

“I don’t know, Ino, Ten-Ten, Hinata, and now Sakura was ordered to be taken alive. I don’t know what to make of this.” Tsuande was confused. “Get me Shikamaru, maybe he can think of what is going on here.”

One month down six months left before the end!

“Naruto we have gotten a lot of information, don’t you think it’s time we went back and told Tsuande about this?” The Kyubi was tried and just wanted to take a nap.

“No, not yet, we still have some work to do, but soon we will be back, soon.” Naruto was still on his journey, now he was in a place that not even Jiraiya himself could find, The Hidden Sound Village. “We need to do some great spying here for three months then we will be half done.”

At the same time back in Konaha, Sakura’s and Ino’s teams meet for lunch, Ramen of course. “We have not been on a mission outside of the village since our C-rank. What is going on? Sakura-sensei is always at the hospital working.” Ybiki tells them.

“Same here. Ino-sensei is at the hospital or at her mom’s flower shop. We have only done D-ranks that are in the village. I want to go out on a mission. All we do is train and stay here.” Sukio, from Ino’s team tells the other three. “Something is not right.”

They go back to eating. They try to ask what is going on, but they get the same answer, medical training. There were getting cabin fever, but all they could do was train and D-ranks, “THIS SUCKS!”

Three months over, three months left before the end!

“Kyubi, we have what we need, time to do some boarder spying at the Rain for two months and then HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Naurto could not wait his journey was near an end. His Training was near complete, and he would be ready to fight on that day.

“Naruto, we should be careful, this boarder is well guarded. You don’t know if Pain could be around, so stay out of the rain, got it.” The Kyubi growled at him.

“Don’t worry fox, this will be easy.” With that Naruto was off, and before he knew it the journey was over.

“Ok then, we know what they are up to; the size, the location, time, materials, manpower, and who will be there. Kyubi it is time to report back. I still have three more things to master, and one more person to meet up with before that day comes.” Naruto was off, jumping from tree tops with great speed and such a big gap between jumps.

“What are you talking about, it is complete…..  Wait a second; I know what you mean now. Be careful boy, don’t overdo it, ok. I bet you cannot wait to see his face when you show up,” Kyubi chuckled at Naruto.

“It’s been a long time since I’ve seen them, and don’t worry about me, I can do it.” Then thinking just to himself. ‘Sakura-chan, friends, and my village I will protect you all, just like he did.’
